Note: Visit timers are only available on visits for jobs, assessments do not have visit timers. When the visit timer is stopped, the general timer will start back up to log time until the next visit. If you already have the general timer running while the visit timer is started, the general timer will be paused until the visit timer is stopped so that time isn't logged twice. Starting a visit timer logs time against a job. You will likely only clock out at the end of your day to stop the general timer. To stop a general timer, select Clock out. The general timer will run until either a visit timer is started, or until the general timer is stopped. To start a general timer, select the Time Sheet tab from the bottom menu, then Clock In. Since this timer is general, it can be used for a variety of purposes including tracking travel time between visits or for time spent at your company's HQ before heading out on your first appointment. The general timer is typically only started once first thing in the morning. To track time all day, including time between jobs, you will want to start a general timer when you start your day at work. Time tracking is available on select plans. Visit timers allocate the time logged to the job. General timers are not tied to a job and are good for tracking time between visits, breaks, or unscheduled time. There are two categories of timers in Jobber- general timers and visit timers. The timers in the app populate your time sheets both in the mobile app and, which you can then use to reference how much time was spent on certain jobs or for your payroll. Time can be logged on specific jobs or more generally. In the Jobber App, you can start and stop timers during your day while out in the field.
